All CSCT/TYPE Alumni, current students and future students are invited to participate in our first fundraiser event.

This will be a fun Cabaret style performance, showcasing popular songs from past productions as well as songs from other popular musicals…maybe even a Hamilton song or two. There will be an art auction featuring the works of Mr. Chris Elliott, our former crew director who we lost this year to cancer. The event will take place on

Wednesday, February 15th at the Gärten in Linda Vista. Rehearsals will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 pm-6:30 pm at The Mission Hills United Church of Christ 4070 Jackdaw Street.

All students ages 3rd grade-high school are encouraged to participate. Life is busy and commitments can be difficult, there are several options for participation. You can choose to participate on Mondays only, Wednesdays only or both Mondays and Wednesdays. Of course the more rehearsals you are able to attend the more songs you will participate in. The Tuition is donation based at a suggested amount of $150 or $200 and up to $300. Admission to the event is free, you will only have to pay for food and beverages, however the venue will be donating a portion of their tips from the month of February to CSCT, so tip well! All proceeds from the art auction will go directly to CSCT.

Rehearsal start January 9th, please be sure to register no later than January 2nd.

January 11, 18, 25

February 1 and 8

There will be mandatory dress rehearsal on Monday, February 13th

Performance Event will be Wednesday, February 15th from 5-8pm

There will be NO rehearsal on Monday, January 16th (MLK)r

Your donation to CSCT helps provide programs to children who may not otherwise experience theater. ​

Musical Theatre For Young Actors-Grades 1st-4th

In this interactive class, young actors will learn acting skills on and off the stage. Through fun theatre games, character explorations, and singing and dancing, kids will build confidence and character. This is an after-school class that will meet every Monday from 3:15-4:30 pm. This can be a tricky time and some actors will have to arrive late and some will need to leave early. The idea is that students will play fun theater games during the first and last 15 minutes of class time. This will provide an opportunity for all kids in the class to participate in games whether they arrive late or leave early. All kids will enjoy the core 45 minutes working on other theater elements from 3:30-4:15. This is a 12 Week class, ending in a mini performance. The dates are January 9, 23, 30 NO class on January 16 (MLK)
February 6, 13, 27 NO class on February 20 (President's Day)
March 6, 13, 20 NO class on March 27 (Spring Break)
April 10, 17, 24 NO class on April 3 (Church is closed for Holy Week)
Final class and mini performance on April 24th at 5pm
