Young Actors Class - Session 1

Schedule: Mondays, 3:15 PM - 4:30 PM 

Ages: Kindergarten to 2nd grade 

Dates:

- September: 9, 16, 23, 30 

- October: 7, 21, 28 

- November: 4, 11, 18 

**Note:** No class on October 14th. Class will be held on November 11th (Veterans Day) for those who can attend. 

This class is designed to keep our young actors active while developing theater skills that elevate their performance. The sessions will be dynamic and fast-paced, focusing on movement and incorporating games, yoga, character development, and confidence building. 

Each class will revolve around a specific theme, reinforced through movement, theater games, dance routines, yoga poses, and creative role-playing. We will explore a new theater concept each week, building upon what we’ve learned in past sessions.

Musical Theater for Intermediate Actors

Musical Theater for Intermediate Actors, Session 1

Designed for 3rd and 4th graders, as well as 2nd graders who have successfully completed two or more sessions of the young actors program. This class focuses on performance and is tailored for children eager to advance their skills by applying what they have learned in previous sessions. Participants will engage in selecting scenes, songs, and choreography from a well-known musical. Each student will be assigned a character, where they will learn their lines, songs, and dance routines, culminating in a performance complete with costumes for family and friends.  

Schedule:  

Wednesdays from 3:15 to 4:30 PM  

Dates: September 11, 18, 25; October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; November 6, 13  

Performance rehearsal on November 20 from 3:15 to 5:00 PM 

Performance at 5:00 pm
